After decommissioning[edit]

When the building was decommissioned in 1971 it was used by the Royal Mail, the rear of the building was a local sorting office with the front offices being used by Postal Engineers and office staff who move from the old Queen Street Post Office site when that was closed. The Postal Engineers later moved to a new site on Little Tennis Street, Colwick. --palmiped |  Talk  21:49, 19 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
