Problems[edit]

I don't understand the point of this article. I was going to suggest deleting it, perhaps merging any points worth salvaging into "gun politics in the United States", but instead I've added a bunch of templates. Is the article about gun laws and regulations; or about attitudes to guns and gun laws; or something else? Why is a separate article needed here rather than expanding gun politics? Saying "different groups have different attitudes to controversy X" and "different levels of government may have responsibility for enforcing different regulations in legal area X" are both rather obvious statements not needing a separate article. Mostly the article consists of vague generalisations along the lines of "the domain of X may have various positions regarding rights, responsibilities, restrictions and controls of guns" for various values of X", with a random example thrown in. --jnestorius(talk) 20:16, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still a problem[edit]

Wouldn't this article be better if merged into US gun politics? It's puny and a lot of it is just unsourced opinion.--StopYourBull (talk) 18:44, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
