Newspapers.com and Ancestry research

I found an article from 1961 that says he was to be 75 next month, meaning he was born in November 1886 - https://www.newspapers.com/clip/97453330/arizona-daily-star/

Looking on Ancestry, he seems to be the Donald Reed Taft who was born, according to the U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942, on 7th November 1886 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He died in Illinois in September 1970 according to the U.S., Social Security Death Index, 1935-2014.
