  • The second paragraph of the lead contains five sentences all starting with "He". Can this be varied a bit?
  • "The Second World War was well underway at the time of Wells' completion of flying training and, now a pilot officer," - Link pilot officer
  • "The next month Wells was promoted to flying officer" - Link flying officer
  • What was the cause of death?
  • The later life section has three sentences starting with "He" and a fourth with "His". Can this be varied?
  • Is there a specific reason why RAF Bawdsey is not included in the list of his commands in the infobox
  • Considering consolidating the later life and postwar career sections, these are both rather short sections.
  • I understand where you are coming from as they are both short sections but I prefer to keep them that way since they are quite logically fall into military life and civilian life. Zawed (talk) 08:03, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • External link is about Alan Deere, doesn't look relevant
  • That's embarrassing - I cut and pasted from the Alan Deere article so as to keep the language of the description consistent. I changed the name but forgot to update the link! Fixed now. Zawed (talk) 08:03, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good beyond those little points, placing on hold. Hog Farm Bacon 20:31, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
