[edit]

Are not precised. Important to understand the popularity of it among thousands of young and less young. Perhaps unique in the World. First revival: the leader, Loeiz Ropars, teacher, giving a new breath, but only for a minority. Second Revival: the leader, Alan Stivell, artist, composer, author, promoting Celtic music and Breton traditional danses, in a modern style, among the mainstream audiences of all the French territory, and even outside. And the fest-noz is now celebrated by UNESCO, because these two men have existed (and, of course, the traditional not-professional musicians and singers).
