Main series vs. Side novels
[edit]We've covered the main series here, and for some reason are covering a limited edition bonus book - but there are a bunch more books, which I'd don't actually own myself. I think they are heavily illustrated short stories? Square hardbound books, generally don't stay in print...there have been at least three, I think. I'll go look for more info. - Right, visual novels, whatever that means:
ビジュアルノベル『記憶の国 -Their Memories-』
- 2003年12月3日発売(ISBN 978-4-8402-2525-0)
ビジュアルノベル『旅人の話 -You-』
- 2005年3月30日発売(ISBN 978-4-8402-2897-8)
ビジュアルノベル 『わたしの国 -Own Will-』
- 2007年12月25日発売(ISBN 978-4-8402-4080-2) Doceirias (talk) 23:14, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- These are the three picture books under MediaWorks' Dengeki Bunko Visual Novel label. They are explained in the art book section on the main article. As for counting the bonus light novel released with the second movie, it's still a light novel volume of the series, just it was only a limited edition release. They did the same thing with Shakugan no Shana and Inukami! too.--十八 00:45, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Glad to know these are covered, was never sure what they were. As for the second movie bonsu, if it doesn't have a number, it isn't part of the series. It's a bonus, and does not count towards the total volume count any more than Gakuen Kino does. I can't imagine it has enough text to count as a novel; it is probably more like the picture books above, and should be treated like them. Doceirias (talk) 03:10, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Another novel
[edit]I believe the second light novel has been released by tokyopop with the ISBN 9781598164565. It would be nice if anyone knew if Tokyopop is translating the rest of the novels as well or if there are still issues. 83.108.161.242 (talk) 00:13, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- No, it was announced but never released; there were issues with the publisher that were never resolved, and they've mostly left the light novel business, so I wouldn't expect to see them resolved. Doceirias (talk) 07:46, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
