People confusing the two Fairfax's?

It's noted here [1] and here [2] that Thomas Fairfax was the one that appointed him as surveyor and acted as a mentor. However, this article states that it was William Fairfax which isn't true. UnbiasedSN (talk) 03:48, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article now states that Thomas Fairfax appointed Washington as surveyor. If other details in that section regarding Thomas and William Fairfax need to be corrected/clarified, please do so. Cheers. Drdpw (talk) 18:46, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
