Too many gurdwaras?

[edit]

This list seems to be long and contain too many gurdwaras. Would it not be better to only include substantial gurdwaras and link to a regional page for the rest of them? That is what i am doing for the Australian articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghoongta (talkcontribs) 10:06, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. not all religious structures are notable. If they have an article, or an article section, yes. many probably should have articles, but should have references showing that they 1)exist and 2) are notable (size, history, important events, etc). the Gurdwaras in the United States at least attempts to provide a city listing and website, which is not quite enough, but a start.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:01, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ive found there are sub pages listing gurdwaras by continent. these should be the focus here, with links as i have added. all the items should not be duplicated both here and in the regional lists. Ive started. What i am avoiding is REMOVING THE UNSOURCED NAMES, for now, out of hope that someone will start to source them.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 01:51, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For the main article G should be capital as followed in rest of wikipedia

[edit]

The link of the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Bangalore leads me to a Gurdwara in London, maybe someone can correct who knows the subject better than me. Jedesto (talk) 02:38, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
