Wrong nationality/ethnicity

[edit]

Hermann Martin Gustav Gisevius was not a Pole, but a German lutheran Pastor. Gisevius was married to a Masurian woman from whom he learned the love for the Polish-Masurian language and culture, which he strove to support and preserve. But again, Gisevius, was German as indicated not least by his German first names. He was not a Pole. Sources https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Gisevius

And this book referred to in the main text confirms that he was an ethnic German, who supported Polish culture and language. https://books.google.ch/books?id=J6oOAAAAQAAJ&pg=PA433&lpg=PA433&dq=Gustav+Gizevius+Osterode&source=bl&ots=bKb2gYTYyK&sig=HvODTI_VMkaQ9vuq8hwkwd2cywE&hl=en&ei=3yBpSrnLA4WksgOJ35SXBQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&redir_esc=y
