When I bumped into this article I saw it was a bit incomplete at some places and lacked some references. Therefore I decided to make some changes and additions.

I have made the introduction a bit more readable by removing the greek name. You can find this in the infobox, so it was a bit double. For the rest I moved the sentence about it is Greece' second busiest airport to a more relevant place.

The history part was very blanco, so I filled it up (reference included). I also moved the picture to the right, below the infobox, to make it look more tidy.

The section "New Airport" is ofcourse very interesting, but it did not have any reference. I looked up some info myself and came up with 2 articles and filled it up (and included reference of course). And, as it is rather silent in the news about the new airport, I changed the tone of the text a bit. It is not clear if the airport will be finished in 2015, or even if they are building it.

Orphaned references in Heraklion International Airport

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Heraklion International Airport's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "ReferenceA":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:28, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
