Title in Caps

[edit]

WHY IS IT ALL IN CAPITALS?????

This was corrected by someone. Disneyfile 17:09, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FilmsWikiProject

[edit]

it is not apart of the project, it is an attraction at the Disney Resorts.

Not sure why the theater venue would disqualify it from the Film project, but I added it to the Disneyland project. Disneyfile 17:09, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Theme park attractions don't fall in the scope of the Film WikiProject. BOVINEBOY2008 :) 12:55, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Captain EO sound effect fact

[edit]

I added a fact about the sound effect of the shrinking ray being the same as Captain EO's ship in the former attraction's show. I have the entire show both on video and audio on my computer to verify it, but can't think of a way to cite it...any ideas? --Andysund 09:53, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True Colors Pre-Show Song

[edit]

Kodak used to do a presentation featuring the song True Colors...do we know who sings that version? Is a copy of the song available?? Jakerforever 13:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure it was Phil Collins in the WDW version, and Cindi Lauper in the France version. The song is for sale generally; not sure if ever sold as a Disney release TimothyJacobson 17:54, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
For Epcot, the song was not sung by Phil Collins or Cindi Lauper. It was by two singers whose names I don't know, but it wasn't a popular version of the song. The only way to get the song is to find live or low quality versions floating around the internet. I'm not sure about the French version, but I have a feeling that it wasn't a popular version of the song as well. --blm07 20:34, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Really? Male singers or female? Are you sure? Might it have been Phil Collins briefly? TimothyJacobson 20:36, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure it was a male, female and children who sung it, all of which I don't know the names, I don't think anyone knows the names. I doubt it was ever by Phil Collins. --blm07 20:59, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Attraction closing at Disneyland?

[edit]

Someone added "Closing date: September 4, 2008" to the Disneyland section. I've found no corroboration from Disney, not even any of the usual gossip and rumormongers. Reverted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.81.51.189 (talk) 01:48, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the above is a moot point now it has shut (in 2010) but I did see rumours about it closing in 2008 also--TimothyJacobson (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Attraction closing in WDW

[edit]

Also, on the subject of HISTA closing. Now that the California attraction is shut, the article is practically entirely in past tense. The one in Paris definitely exists. Anyone know if the one in Florida still does?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 02:02, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re my above comment. It definitely still exists in Florida, see: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_GB/parks/attractionDetail?id=HoneyIShrunkTheAudienceAttractionPage but does anyone have any info as to whether or not this attraction is likely to close in the near future. Personally I doubt it (as the Figment ride is too much linked in) but someone has put on the wikipage that the ride is to shut this year--TimothyJacobson (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The AstroMind Professor 3D

[edit]

When has it ever been called that?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 02:03, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have found a link to verify this now and have added it; however I don't know when/where it has this name. Have also added a link to the three movie pages--TimothyJacobson (talk) 13:18, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shortening intro

[edit]

I have removed the dates this attraction open/closed at each park from the introduction as they are given in the infoboxes--TimothyJacobson (talk) 19:06, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
