Never Events

[edit]

I am thinking this article should also include something on Never Events, and the new (2009) modifiers PA PB and BC.

That may be, sure. I wrote the article from the POV of someone who wrote a MS-DRG grouper. The bits which don't come into play with the grouper, I didn't bother with, but you're welcome to add. - Denimadept (talk) 15:23, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Globalize?

[edit]

This is a US-specific topic. How can you globalize it? - Denimadept (talk) 23:15, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Any patient, in any hospital, has a potential risk for developing hospital acquired conditions. Little pob (talk) 22:17, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's why, not how. - Denimadept (talk) 11:12, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ultimately such an article on Hospital-acquired conditions could cover HAIs, post-op complications, etc - although that may result in a disambiguation page. The current article content could be preserved by moving it to Hospital-acquired condition (MS-DRG category). As the Diagnosis-related group in question is only used in the US, there would then be no need to globalise. Whilst more precise, it's difficult to tell if this approach would comply with primary topic given the article's stability. Little pob (talk) 13:52, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
