Reverted an inappropriate anon IP edit, which replaced the word secular with highly cultured and civilised and also added POV statement about executing people without sources. Discuss your edits here. Atabek 19:05, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added a reference regarding to the actual percentage size of currently occupied territory. Atabek 23:43, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edited the revert which took out the like about Israel and Azerbaijan being secular states. I think there is nothing wrong with mentioning they are both secular states. (Ehud (talk) 04:17, 26 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

To anonymous editor: both Azerbaijan and Israel are secular nations, and that's what the source cited emphasizes. If you would like to add pro-Western nations, that's fine too, so I added that fragment also. Thanks. Atabek (talk) 16:11, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know who the anon was bur s/he is right. Israel is not a secular state, it has Judaism as its state religion. In many states one religion is dominant but few have state religions. These are for example Israel and Judaism, Vatican and Catholicism, Iran and Shiism etc...--Babakexorramdin (talk) 02:05, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure, why sourced material was removed [1] from the article without any discussion. Restoring the edit as it contains important references. Atabek (talk) 21:21, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article states : The war between the two new countries left 30,000 dead and 800,000 refugees, almost all of them Azeris.

The article on that war gave the following figures : Az. 11,000 death, 30,000 wounded, 800 000 refugees Arme. 6000 death, 25,000 wounded, 230,000 refugees.

The two articles should be harmonized. It certaitly cannot be said that "almost all" were Azeris. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kilrati (talkcontribs) 02:25, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Serious POV Issues

[edit]

Another person before me commented on the POV issues regarding this article around November 2008 however nothing has been done to rectify this problem. Somebody should seriously take this into consideration before it is deleted.

I second that. This article is filled with POV statements. I'm tagging it as a POV article. Lida Vorig (talk) 02:20, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

@Lida Vorig: Is someone going to neutralize the article? This needs to be fixed and has been going on for 11 years now. Come on. Let's fix this together.

Removal of sourced material – February 2021

[edit]

Yesterday, I reverted this series of edits which, when taken together, constituted the removal of nearly an entire subsection, including sourced material. Along with reverting the edits, I notified their talk page, that removing sourced material was not constructive editing, at which point I noticed that I was not the first to do so: three months ago, Firestar464 gave them a similar notice, also for this page. Shortly after I restored the removed content, my edit was reverted without explanation by ARandomGuy12345. I am adding this section in the hopes that I can avoid potential edit warring, and I welcome ARandomGuy12345's explanation for why they reverted my edit (which I presently still believe to have been correct on my part). Correction: User:Arandomguy12345. Firestar464 (talk) 03:45, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Andrew11374265. I reverted your edit because it was very speculative and not relevant to Azerbaijan Israel relations. They are more relevant to Israel-Turkey relations. There is no indication that Israel-Azerbaijan relations were in any way affected by Turkey-Israel tension. In fact, it was reported[1] that Azerbaijan offered to help improve ties between Turkey and Israel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arandomguy12345 (talkcontribs) 21:37, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
