Rouse was a notable pioneering evangelist in the Gospel Hall Brethren movement.

Some of his history helps with the controversy in the talk page of the Gospel Hall Brethren, in that it shows how the Gospel Hall brethren of the time had practices much different than the Gospel Hall Brethren of today. Many within the sect believe they have not changed, but they have.

  1. Please discover the subject's full name and use it.
  2. The article appears to be incomplete in that it does not end with his death.
  3. PLease check that the places linked go to the correct articles and add a dablink to the correct one.
  4. The article is clearly based on some reliable sources: please cite them.

Editing notes[edit]

The article needs significant copyediting. It contains largely unreferenced material and non-encyclopedic phrasing. I've tried to do some minor editing several times, but the article gets reverted back to its original condition. I hope someone can improve it. JimVC3 (talk) 04:10, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
