Renominate for deletion

[edit]

Last discussion about deletion was in 2008. That was withdrawn. However, since that time, there doesn't appear to be any notable news, accomplishments, leadership, goals achieved, or otherwise. The description says this is a volunteering organization, which is nice, but has it accomplished anything, have notable people come out of it, has it made a difference to the people it serves or to the people who have been members? Has membership grown? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tipclaysailak (talkcontribs) 00:04, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

→ It should be noted that Tipclaysailak (talk was removed/blocked from editing Ari Teman for the same vendetta-style vandalism that seems to be happening here.

Tipclaysailak appears to have been a SPA, but they have never been blocked for anything. [1] Edward321 (talk) 13:05, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Puffery Tag

[edit]

There is no Talk discussion on the Puffery tag -- what specific words are puffery, as everything is linked to a news article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.168.227.138 (talk) 13:59, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Some examples are most everything in the Mission section, especially "It provides a low-pressure, high-activity environment where people can get to know each other while working on a shared task." which reads like a promotional brochure, not an encyclopedia article. The unsourced claim to being invited to the Gracie Mansion is also promotional in nature. The various claims about Ari Teman were also promotional, but I have removed them. Repeat Vandalism

[edit]

There has been repeat vandalism to this page. It seems to be by the same people who repeatedly vandalized the page "Ari Teman" until a lawsuit had to be initiated and it was deleted. This is a tragic example of Wikipedia being used by some unwell individual to harass someone, and it would be nice if an admit put an end to the vandalism by protecting the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.168.227.138 (talk) 08:43, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Ari Teman page was nominated for deletion based on lack of notability. It was deleted based on the policy "Discussions concerning biographical articles of relatively unknown, non-public figures, where the subject has requested deletion and there is no rough consensus, may be closed as delete.". (See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ari Teman) Accusations of vandalism need to be accompanied by evidence, otherwise they are personal attacks. Edward321 (talk) 13:16, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
