Jack CadeJack Cade's RebellionWP:BIO1E. It's there in the lead: While little is known about the rebel leader himself, the events of the rebellion to which he gave his name are well recorded in fifteenth-century chronicles. This article already is about the rebellion rather than the man. Hijiri 88 (やや) 04:05, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jack Cade's revoltJack Cade's Rebellion – Most of the sources (including cited sources) refer to this as Jack Cade's Rebellion, this page was moved without any discussion. Seraphim System (talk) 11:42, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have reverted User:DagosNavy's bold move on the grounds that Personally I agree with the lower cap: but per WP:MOSTITLES, ' If an article title has been stable for a long time, and there is no good reason to change it, it should not be changed.' See talk. Such a unilateral move should not have occured in the first place, and particularly not with the slightly ambiguous edit-summary, "Rm cap from common name" which rather emphasizes the capitalization over the title. So here we are. I agree that most modern academic authorities favour 'rebellion' over 'revolt' ([1]); I do however also agree that 'rebellion' should be lowercase as per MOS, as RS use the upper- and lower-case almost interchangeably. — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 12:16, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
