I may be a few days getting to this.♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:41, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Will review this evening.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:18, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Production
  • Perhaps reword " The film Kalyana Parisu (1959) was a hit and Sridhar started his own production house, Chitralaya Pictures" as The success of Kalyana Parisu (1959) led to Sridhar establishing his own production house, Chitralaya. Pictures
 Done I went with B. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delink drama films
Done written that Sridhar was then known for dramatic films.
  • While on a flight, -during the flight?
Yes. Written "during". Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Sachu, who began her career as a child actor, had started playing the heroine in Veerathirumagan (1961) and Annai (1962) when Sridhar offered her a comic role." -try "Sachu, who began her career as a child actor, played the heroine in early films such as Veerathirumagan (1961) and Annai (1962) until Sridhar offered her a comic role."
 Done as asked. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:12, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • ""narrated the story featuring three couples"," -why quote?
Because the line appears just the same way in the source, and we do not want to plagiarise. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The film was launched with a unique advertisement that said, "Do not look for any story in the film!"." - it's not clear to me why there was this advertisement, it seems like the context is missing? In who's opinion was it unique anyway?
Although this seems to have something relating to WP:FILMMARKETING, Ssven may know the answer. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Tweaked the sentence. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:14, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "During filming, Gopu gave Ravichandran the lyrics of the song "Naalaam Naalaam", which were written like tongue-twisters in chaste Tamil, said they were his lines and asked him to memorise them." -awkward, try During filming, Gopu gave Ravichandran the lyrics of the song "Naalaam Naalaam", which were written like tongue-twisters in chaste Tamil. He claimed they were his own lines and asked him to memorise them."
 Done as asked. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:12, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • " Knowing he will not get any funds" - -receive instead of get?
Yes. "Receive" sounds more formal. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Music
  • "All lyrics written by Kannadasan. " looks like a short unsourced statement at the bottom of the above section, can you move under original tracklist with a * and source or something?
I don't know why it's there. I have removed it. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:08, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Reception
  • "The Hindu said " -per JMilburn ;-) do we know the journalist's name?
No. The author reads, "Special Correspondant". What do I do in this case? Kailash29792 (talk) 16:39, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Tweaked the sentence. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:14, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Legacy
  • Reads as a bit crufty/trivial, could use a trim.
 Done Trimmed as asked, Dr. Blofeld. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:27, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Pop culture
  • " It was believed to be " -by whom?
The website IndiaGlitz. Written the same. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:39, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In memory of Sridhar and Kadhalikka Neramillai, director Kamal Suburamaniam started a production house called Oho Productions." -when?
The claim by Kamal reads, "It all began at St. Joseph’s Boys Higher Secondary School in Coonoor. We were a bunch of kids who used to design posters which were well appreciated by all in the school. Slowly we started our own production house called ‘Oho Productions’ in memory of director Sridhar and his mega hit, Kadhalikka Neramillai." How can I remove ambiguity based on this source? Kailash29792 (talk) 17:03, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Don't think it's that important. I have removed it. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:16, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"All lyrics written by Kannadasan. " is still stray and unsourced. Can it be moved into the table or mentioned in a sentence further up?♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:47, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Dr. Blofeld: I've removed Kannadasan from the table as his name's mentioned on the top of the "Music" section and is sourced with Dhananjayan's book as reference. — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:54, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
