I will write a more comprehensive review, however, based on my knowledge of the GA criteria, I will provisionally pass this article.

Wow! Great! Thanks! QatarStarsLeague (talk) 19:06, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure what you mean by provisionally passing this article, but I would urge you to take some time to verify the sources and to make sure that it is broad and focused in coverage. I would say particular attention should be given to neutrality giving the subject. From a quick look it is missing many sources (plus it has outstanding tags). AIRcorn (talk) 00:27, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Where are these tags you speak of? QatarStarsLeague (talk) 04:28, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • A citation needed tag at the end of this sentence: Although not required to stand for popular election to his key offices, he was unanimously elected to the Supreme People's Assembly every five years, representing a military constituency, due to his concurrent capacities as KPA Supreme Commander and Chairman of the DPRK NDC.
Done. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • A page number is requested for this citation: Chol-hwan Kang and Pierre Rigoulot (2005). The Aquariums of Pyongyang: Ten Years in the North Korean Gulag, Basic Books. ISBN 0-465-01104-7
  • A date has been requested for this sentenceThe New York Times reported Kim was "very ill and most likely suffered a stroke a few weeks ago, but United States intelligence authorities do not think his death is

imminent."

I do not have the book. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 14:27, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Reference 59 is a dead link, and also not correctly formatted.
Done. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • So are these references: "Asan, KOLAND Permitted to Develop Kaesong Complex", The Korea Times, 23 April 2004. and "Report: Kim Jong Il Living With Former Secretary". Fox News. 24 July 2006. Retrieved 28 December 2011.
  • I would think some more references would be needed for the Presidium member and party secretary (1980–1994) and Ruler of North Korea sections as well as statements like On 9 October 2006, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency announced that it had successfully conducted an underground nuclear test. Will add more substance. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
