Explain NPOV warning

[edit]

The "disputed neutrality" warning should be either explained in detail here, or removed. Otherwise it serves no useful purpose. --Chinawhitecotton 06:35, 30 January 2006 (UTC) http://www.answers.com/topic/lataif-e-sitta this website seems to contradict the colours of the six subtleties stated here. Eg. wikipedia says the colour of Ruh is red, answers.com states that it is green. the rest of the information on both websites is indentical howver.[reply]

Why are the terms in Urdu? Urdu terms are incorrect. Put Arabic terms in their places as the terms are originally in Arabic, and from that were formed the Urdu, Turkish, Persian, Malay, and other local terms.

The Sufis by Idries Shah

[edit]

Since we need citations, but I don't presently have the time to make them:

In Sufism, the lataif are located thus: Mind (qalb), color yellow, location left side of the body. Spirit (ruh), color red, location right side of the body. Consciousness (sirr), color white, location solar plexus. Intuition (khafi), color black, location forehead. Deep perception of consciousness (ikhfa), color green, location center of chest.

-The Sufis by Idries Shah, p.430
I don't know the edition (it's from a pdf), but it says 1971 Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 07:30, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reference. I found the quote in a 1999 edition on page 379 and have incorporated it into the article. Looks like the only legitimate reference so far. Thank you. --Akhooha (talk) 17:03, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
