Categorization

[edit]
I would disagree with this being in the software-stub category - not entirely sure where to sort it to but it's not software, more a stub related to software. A possibility would be creating a software bugs stub category but I find the prospect rather useless and unappealing - it's far too specific and would thus be empty (rather nice for a stub category I suppose). Whereabouts would you place this? KieranTribe (talk) 13:28, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Content

[edit]

The original content discussing the OOXML Standard referred to p.3305 in Section 3.17.41 (which I believe was actually 3.17.4.1). I've seen other references to this page in articles that were dated 2006 - when the Standard was published. It makes me believe a preliminary document existed but is no longer available from ECMA.

As of 2016, there are five editions of the Standard on the ECMA website. The first was published in 2006; the last four were published jointly with the ISO/IEC (Publication 29500) beginning in 2008. None of them discuss the leap-year bug on p.3305.

In any case, I replaced the "citation needed" with a link to the Standards available today. Pbyhistorian (talk) 21:02, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Revision / Expansion

[edit]

I've been working on expanding knowledge of leap year bugs for awhile now, so I decided to improve this article. Please let me know if you feel anything needs additional work. I have much more I could add, but this seemed like a good start. Thanks.--mj1856 (talk) 20:26, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
