While the two sources cited (Mackey and Duncan) do demonstrate that Freemasons use abbreviations… neither discusses this usage of abbreviations. Also, a lot of the abbreviations that are currently listed are from French and German usage… and neither of the sources go into that. The article seems to be one big WP:NOR violation. please discuss. Came from NORN. Not my area of expertise but since @Blueboar seem to have expressed notability concerns on this talk since long and also seem to have OR concerns, I do have following opinion.
Since this article seem to attract only limited audience, I would suggest to tag the article for concerns so interested users may join talk page in due course.
Ref XTools User:PonyToast seem to be one of major contributor to the list so I shall notify on their talk page for inputs.
Since this being STEM area usually it would be good to have secondary sources support and apply WP:FRINGE. The content you remove WP:ONUS just provide link in this talk page discussion so if some one want to have re-look into it and support with secondary sources should be possible. Sorry for taking so long to reply. This list cites Mackey and Duncan as they are the most well-known sources, but the usage of such abbreviations is widespread and more sources could easily be added if there is need. In the meantime, this list serves as an informational purpose given the prevalence of the use of such abbreviations throughout Masonic contexts and which would therefore be an invaluable resource to a reader or researcher. WP:Notability#Stand-alone lists does state, in reference to lists, that "Lists that fulfill recognized informational, navigation, or development purposes often are kept regardless of any demonstrated notability."
