Which Uragan system is being talked about?[edit]

The Uragan BM-27 MLRS is in use by both the Ukrainian Army and the Novorossian forces. It is a Soviet designed and manufactured. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BM-27

The article talks about an Uragan missile system and leads to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buk_missile_system#3S90_.22Uragan.22 I sincerely doubt that a Russian NAVAL missile was used in the attack. 220.235.193.198 (talk) 14:35, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thanks very much. It has been fixed. RGloucester 16:09, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You should also remove the "Russian made" claim as if the Novorossians captured Ukrainian Army Uragans, they could be either Soviet or Ukrainian made.220.235.193.198 (talk) 00:57, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I removed this for a moment. On more careful reading, the source does say "Russian-made" and the content in the article clearly qualifies that the information is on behalf of the Ukrainian position. Speculation on our behalves contravenes Wikipedia policy (WP:OR). Nevertheless, thanks for your input, 220.235.193.198. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 06:10, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Mass murder[edit]

The article starts with the definition of the event as an accident in which people were killed. The word "murder" does not occur in the article. No source call this murder. The categories are not appropriate. They will be removed unless strong arguments can be made why they should be in the article.--Ymblanter (talk) 14:50, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • You can try to remove all articles from this category Category:Mass murder in 2014 with such description ("killed, not murdered"). All killings/murders are present in it (and in 2013, 2012 branches etc.) as of now. Try to discuss the renaming to Category:Mass killings in 2014 (if you want) instead of removing only some items of thousand similar. Murder is the killing of another person without justification or valid excuse. Killings = murder, if we say about attack on refugees. 95.133.218.118 (talk) 15:03, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No, not at all. For example, 2014 Edmonton killings is clearly murder, and should stay in the category, at least as soon as the category exists. However, the article Novosvitlivka refugee convoy attack itself very clearly says this is not murder. You should take a dictionary and read the difference between "to kill" and "to murder", as I suggested to you elsewhere.--Ymblanter (talk) 23:34, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
