Maze TV

[edit]

Should the Maze TV series be described in a separate page, or together on the same page as the OAV? I'm not sure whether I'll have time, but the TV series is one of my favorite anime series and this page only describes the OAV. --Ssokolow 07:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ranchiki - girl or boy?

[edit]

Recently I've seen this anime and I would say, that it is almost sure that Ranchiki is not a girl - Ranchiki is a boy. Why?

  1. Male Maze (Akira) desperately runs from Ranchiki, although he always tries to get any girl in his way.
  2. There were several situations when Ranchiki's body was partialy revealed (injury, open clothes, ...) and he has a male body (if you think that Ranchiki is a flat-chested girl, I disagree, the body is much more male than female).
  3. Ranchiki's behavior - interaction with prince Gold, Maze, ...
  4. I've seen fansub with Japanesse audio and English subtitles. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I've heard word boku several times when Ranchiki speaks. That word is used almost exclusively by males, see Japanese pronouns or http://web.mit.edu/jpnet/articles/JapaneseLanguage.html.
  5. See also reviews and discussions on http://galeon.hispavista.com/anycb/enlaces325661.html, http://www.boysonboysonfilm.com/anime/maze.html.

In Ranchiki's first appearance, he was referred to as a him in the English subtitles of Software Scultors's japanese sub translation. So yeah, he's a boy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MegaZilla (talkcontribs) 03:46, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maze Picture

[edit]

I suggest we get a decent usable picture for this anime. Make sure it is allowed here according to the wikipedia rules regarding images. A nice pic with the characters and possibly the logo. Maybe something with Maze and Princess Mill with Dulgar (the main mecha) or one with a bunch of the characters perhaps? A perfect example for a pic from the anime Aura Battler Dunbine is this Image:Aura Battler Dunbine.jpg . Another good example is from RahXephon this picture Image:RahXephon_dvdcover3_adv.jpg . Please look into this (but no rush ^.^ ) - Prede (talk) 01:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded a picture for the main page. - Prede (talk) 21:07, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot Expansion

[edit]

Could the plot be expand upon a bit? Being only one paragraph, it seems it could be more useful if it had a few more paragraphs, but nothing to lengthy please. If you do add a lot, that's all right we can always cut it down a bit. Right now thought it is REALLY too short. - Prede (talk) 06:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

How come the picture was removed and replaced with this really poor picture of the manga cover of volume 1? it did not start as a manga, nor is it well known as a manga, it is more known as an anime and its origins are a light novel as far as I know. I suggest we go back to the anime picture as that really shows what type of show this is and gives the reader an instant clue as to if they're on the right page or not. Can anyone find a reliable source for Maze originals being lost?

[edit]

Maze (novel) does not mention the interesting facts found in [1]. But all I see are forum posts and such. Anyone can find anything we can actually reference on this? (Perhaps in Japanese which I can't search in...)? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:35, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
