MohammédiaMohammedia – per WP:ENGLISH, WP:Place, WP:DIACRITICS and WP:UE Encyclopedia britannica uses Mohammedia [1]

Google books and scholar return higher hits (in English) for Mohammedia than Mohammédia, the latter spelling is just typically French and does not accurately describe the native spelling. The adding of the é is of superfluous value even for the French language. Not to mention that all of this is about a place whose native name is not in Latin alphabet Tachfin (talk) 16:28, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
