Stellar nucleosynthesis
[edit]The section on astronomy and geology states that Ni and Fe are the final elements produced by stellar nucleosynthesis. This is not true. While they are the culmination of nuclear burning since they occupy the peak of the nucleon binding energy curve, heavier elements (up to bismuth) are produced, albeit much more slowly, by the neutron capture s-process. 22:19, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
Pronunciation?
[edit]is it Knee-fay? or Knife? or niff-eh? OsamaBinLogin (talk) 19:51, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Renamed
[edit]Renamed to Nickel-iron alloy, to avoid acronymism. Merged some content from Fe-Ni stub, which now redirects here. Vsmith (talk) 17:05, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
