Proposed deletion

[edit]

This article was just proposed for deletion for failing WP:PRODUCT. I think it passes product because the magazine itself has more notability that the corporation owning it. I removed the template.

The magazine is culturally significant for producing original journalism in India. I am having trouble finding sources to prove this, but here are two interviews with the magazine's editor so at least this is some proof that the magazine has been critiqued by third parties. [1] [2]

With the attention this magazine has gained in the past six months I would expect only greater things from them in the future. They are notable now and will be more notable later. Blue Rasberry 18:58, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

bestmediainfo is not a good source, even so, it does not have significant coverage on the OPEN magazine, it is an interview of Manu Joseph with focus on his book Serious Men. The same for the sify interview, it does not have any significant coverage on OPEN magazine. --Neptune 123 (talk) 01:58, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
