Note

[edit]

A note on this article. It isn't promotion, though it might be mistaken for such. If you scan my contributions to Wikipedia, you will see that I have followed the rules to the best of my ability. I have done my best to maintain a NPOV in the article. I intitiated this article because it has caused consternation in my community, and I thought it worthy of inclusion. If Wikipedians as a whole find it without merit, I have no objection to it being taken down. However, it should not be considered in direct violation of the rules of contribution. -- Benn M. 20:45, 2005 Jun 7 (UTC)

I would not worry about it, Ben, the article documents a somewhat well-known internet meme (compare Bubb Rubb). What I would be interested in seeing, though, is links to mixed-reaction blogs and minority rights activists--personally I found that the response was overwhelmingly positive. Are some people unhappy with the portrayal? Who are they? 216.193.172.224 01:58, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
