I don't quite understand the chart - with Type 1, Type 2 etc.. Hu is listed a number of times, which makes sense if the list is a rank of positions, but a rank of people might be different. - Matthew238 02:31, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get the chart either. Especially becauase it's got a "current ranking" column and then a "current occupant" column, then a column of actual "current occupants" column. I can understand that the different types might be types used at differnt times. But surely there is only one current ranking - that of the currenet occupants? --Sumple (Talk) 12:21, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I tagged Types 2 through 4 with "clarify" in hopes that someday someone would explain it. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:49, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps using “CPC” in this case

[edit]

I understand that Wikipedia prefers using CCP instead of CPC because of WP:COMMONNAME, but I think in this case, since we are listing the official order of precedence, it would be more appropriate to use the official name. So instead of “Chairman of the CCP Central Committee”, we could use “Chairman of the Central Committee of the CPC”, and instead of “Chairperson of the NPC Standing Committee“, we use “ Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC”. 24.114.29.178 (talk) 02:54, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"order of surname strokes"

[edit]

Anything in "order of surname strokes" is entirely unhelpful to the English reader. Someone with the time needs to rearrange the names into alphabetical order by surname.--Jiang (talk) 01:51, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
