Inspiration

[edit]

I have realized that the wiki doesn't mention why Rick Riordan even wrote the Percy Jackson books. It is also a known fact that Rick Riordan had trouble coming up with named for some characters and ended up using some of the names of his middle school students. Some of these characters are Katie Gardner, Travis Stoll, and Nico Di Angelo.

Television adaptation draft article

[edit]

This is a notice that there is a draft for the television series adaptation at Draft:Percy Jackson and the Olympians (TV series) until such a time that it is ready for inclusion in the mainspace. All are welcome to come help nurture the article's development there. -- Alex_21 TALK 06:15, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello Wikipedians, I propose that we should change the lead image, which is currently the UK logo for the books, to the American logo for the books.

This is because the Percy Jackson series was originally published by an American publishing company and was written by an American man. It would make more sense to have the logo of the books published in the original release country instead of the logo from another country's cover.

I propose the image should be changed to either this:

1000 (1000×447) (nocookie.net)

Or this, which also shows the covers of the books in the series:

1000 (1000×324) (nocookie.net)

Thank you,
