This shouldn't be classed as an advert, an page that give detailed description of a company and the service they offer will read as advertising to a degree. This is pretty neutral. TheManicD 23:21, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was more the stuff like "perfect for X", "fantastic opportunity", "technically superiorly", but I'm happy to leave the tag off now that I've removed these things. Mdwh 23:52, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article was written as a excercise for a school web design project, I still have copies of the original site should you want proof.

I DO NOT give my permission for this article to exist on wikipedia, and wish it to be removed immediately

Too late. You have already given it under WP:GFDL. I'm really sorry but you should not have placed it here if you were not prepared for the rationale of that license. Pedro |  Chat  19:23, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did not give permission for this article to be used on this site.

how it got here I don't know, I can only assume the venue who were shown the site and retained a copy of it, have used my works

ok, there's a mix up in terminology here, I wrote the article yes, I did NOT write it on this site, I wrote it for another site, A school website design site, during this process I worked with the venue to discuss what they required out of the site and what it should include, I wrote all the text for the site and sent them the finished copy, so that they could evaluate it for me, nothing more than a school exercise. Now I come on here and find that they have used my exact text (the copyright violation) and turned it into a article on here.

So yes I wrote it, NO I didn't submit it to this site. No I never agreed to its use outside my own educational experience. Thus This violates copyright. I am once again going to add the speedy deletion notice to the main page.

please do not remove it again.

  • I have looked at the official site and there is no copy-vio in the sense that the information there is not the same as the information here. Please do not add those SD tags - they aren't the right thing anyway in a case like this. My gist of your complaint is that you write some text and they have used it here but not on their website. I'm not sure how to proceed so I'm going to take this to WP:ANI.Pedro |  Chat  19:44, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, your right, my website was never actually published, the official website is there own creation, I do have a copy of the website I designed for the school project. I can possible get this to you for you to look at if you wish.

My website was only ever an exercise in website design. They didn't use it. But they seem to have used my text in this wikipedia article. I want it removed. John

Just to let you know how easy it is to attain a new IP, just click disconnect and reconnect on my router control panel, I don't even have to leave my computer simple access the web admin console

Want to know how easy it is to block it ?Pedro |  Chat  20:53, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix Arts CentreUpper Brown Street – The title should be changed to Upper Brown Street. As since Phoenix Square opened in 2007 (this venues replacement) it has been taken over by Leicester College being known as Upper Brown Street from March 2010.Amgmichael (talk) 19:05, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
