Serious notability problems - deletion or redirect?

[edit]

This article is of questionable, unproven notability. If there are in fact no sources available, then it should be turned into a redirect leading to Bob Geldof. If she's a model, then she should have an agency representing her, otherwise she's just an amateur. Any sources for that? Catgut (talk) 00:57, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Name

[edit]

Pixie was born "Little Pixie Geldof" - that is, 'Little' is her legal first name. I have no idea why this edit was reverted! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.104.33.249 (talk) 15:34, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps because the name is difficult to accept ... have you got a WP:RS for this fact? Off2riorob (talk) 15:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's not my fault celebrities give their children silly names! :) Although this is first-hand knowledge, I respectfully offer the following cites from reputable, published sources: 1 2 3 4. It's true Pixie goes by just "Pixie" and has done since she was born, but her legal name is and remains "Little Pixie Geldof". Unfortunately, I haven't got LexisNexis access to dig out birth-announcements for the early 1990s, but I'm sure someone has! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.104.33.249 (talk) 22:02, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for providing those, I am a little impressed, but I would prefer one really strong citation for this, than three weak ones - on her mothers article she claimed to be Little Pixie Frou-Frou Geldof - I requested a citation to support that, and am also working on it also - I asked Peaches on twitter earlier, please bear with me - she is anyway commonly only know as Pixie so its not a big issue that can't wait till tomorrow....Perhaps cite one and two are enough to add this... Her birth was registered as Little Pixie Geldof (no Froufrou!) at Westminster in October 1990 (from ancestry.co.uk). That's definitive! Chris (talk) 09:13, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
