Ownership change
[edit]Conversation: I am looking to make amends to the PruHealth entry to reflect a company buy out, rebrand and ownership change. The new company is called VitalityHealth - should this form a complete new listing or should I update what we have here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by S.dwatling (talk • contribs) 22:47, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

- As the brand has been through a rebrand I need to make wholesale changes to the logo, the owners, the financials, as well the company name and details. As it's a rebrand should I continue to do this or should I create a new page? S.dwatling (talk) 17:04, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Steve Watling
- You will need to state what you want to change in terms of change X to Y. Youll need to provide a link to a reliable source to back up these changes. You can upload the new logo through the Upload File link on the left of any page. If you then link the file name here with a request that can be cahnged as well. The name of the page cna be changed as part fo the request to reflect the change. Amortias (T)(C) 22:24, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

- I've actually given him the "go ahead" template above. In regards to infobox data like revenue, the logo image, etc. these are non-controversial edits you should go ahead and make. Just be sure to avoid creating an excessive list of execs or products in the infobox. Otherwise, I'd encourage you to update the revenues each year and the logo image anytime it changes. - Is there a way to ensure that the new logo, displayed on the Wiki page is pulled through correctly to Google search results info box? Currently Google shows an old PruHealth with Vitality logo, rather than the one that's been uploaded here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. {{Sdw88 (talk) 23:16, 7 December 2015 (UTC)}}
- Thanks - sorry it's taken a while, just going to update the logo and company vital stats in the info box now. S.dwatling — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sdw88 (talk • contribs) 10:34, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

- The business is moving addresses and has changed the logo, I'd like to make the following amends:
Headquarters: 4th Floor, 70 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0XL
The logo should be changed to the following link: http://www.pruhealth.co.uk/mediaonline/Images/PHOnline/Logos/vitalityhealth-logo
Am I able to go in and make these amends? Thanks Sdw88 (talk) 11:52, 3 March 2016 (UTC)S.dwatling (talk) 17:04, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Steve Watling

- Just wanting to update the infobox stats. Specifically, Kevin Gillett is no longer our COO - this is to be replaced with Keith Klintworth - Deputy CEO. Also the number of customers for 2014 needs amending and additional data for subsequent years needs adding. Am I able to make these amends? Request new listing
[edit]Conversation: Hi, the business has gone through some pretty fundamental changes over the past few months, with the ultimate outcome being that we are known in the market as 'Vitality' and we sell two main products (Health Insurance - as VitalityHealth - and Life Insurance - as VitalityLife).
Currenly our Wiki listings just show VitalityHealth. If possible can we create a new listing for 'Vitality' within which we can include information about the sub-brands.
If this is ok, how do I go about making that change? S.dwatling (talk) 10:50, 12 September 2016 (UTC)S.dwatling — Preceding unsigned comment added by S.dwatling (talk
Suggested page changes would be:
Replace all current copy with:
Vitality UK Vitality is a United Kingdom-based company specialising in private health and life insurance sold to the UK market. The company is split into two brands – VitalityHealth and VitalityLife – helping each to specialise in its own field of insurance. Both VitalityHealth and VitalityLife are owned by Discovery Limited, a South African insurer.
VitalityHealth History In 1994 the company was created when Standard Life acquired Prime Health Limited. In 2000 it was renamed as Standard Life Healthcare. Standard Life Healthcare expanded in March 2006 with the acquisition of the Bournemouth-based private medical insurance (PMI) business of FirstAssist. As part of this process they relocated their head office from Guildford, Surrey to Bournemouth, Dorset. They also have large offices in Stockport, Greater Manchester and Gracechurch Street, London.
In April 2010, as part of Standard Life's decision to focus on its core pension and investment business the Healthcare division was sold to Prudential of the United Kingdom and the company was renamed under its PruHealth brand.
In November 2014 Discovery purchased the remaining 25% stake in PruHealth from Prudential, making Discovery a sole owner of the company. Immediately after purchase Discovery re-branded PruHealth to a new trade mark called VitalityHealth.
VitalityLife History Prudential PLC was founded in 1848 in London as an Investment and Loan Association. In 1854 the company expanded and begun to sell insurance policies.
PruProtect was launched in the United Kingdom in 2007 as a joint venture between Prudential PLC of the United Kingdom and Discovery Limited. Discovery is a South Africa based financial services group which was already established as a long and short-term insurance company.
In 2010, Discovery increased its shareholding to 75% and in November 2014 became the full owner of PruProtect. As a result, PruProtect was renamed and rebranded to VitalityLife.
Operations Vitality Insurance UK is owned by Discovery Limited, which is an insurance provider listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Discovery Limited have over 10,000 employees across the globe – including South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and China.

Senior management Vitality Insurance UK is split between the VitalityLife and VitalityHealth brands. Because of this the company has an Executive Team for each side of the business.
The Chief Executive Officer of VitalityHealth is Neville Koopwitz.

• Vitality was announced as the Official Wellness Partner of England Rugby, Scottish Rugby and the Welsh Rugby Union ahead of the 2015 RBS 6 Nations Championship.
Brand Ambassadors The Vitality Insurance Brand Ambassadors are Sebastian Coe, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Jonny Wilkinson.
Jessica Ennis-Hill was appointed as an ambassador in January 2013. As a national sporting hero, she is using her passion for living a healthy lifestyle to motivate people to make positive changes and get rewarded in the process through the Vitality wellness programme.
Sebastian Coe was appointed as an ambassador in June 2013 serving both in a strategic capacity as an Advisor to a newly-established Vitality Advisory Board, as well as an initiator of positive lifestyle change through his role as a Vitality Ambassador.
Jonny Wilkinson was appointed as an ambassador in July 2013 who has participated in a number of activities to promote healthy living.
Am I ok to make these amends?
