Note

[edit]

According to the producer, the title is working only,it might be changed latter on.---zeeyanketu talk to me 21:55, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but the poster of the film has pretty much confirmed that the film is titled Ram Leela. If it was still untitled, it would probably have been named "A Sanjay Leela Bhansali film" or something, like when Jab Tak Hai Jaan teaser was released (and they didn't have a title) and they called it "A Yash Chopra Romance". :) Chulbul pandey ab (talk) 14:28, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Content of the Film is totally false, wrong and highly objectionable. It is aimed at igniting caste –war between two communities. It breaches Religious faith of 15 crores Rajputs of India 7. The 50 lacs Rajputs of Gujarat are agitated. Along with 15 crores kshatriya of India ; we strongly protest the story and over all movie “ Ram Leela” We will oppose this movie in a non-violent way an by legal way also. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.172.26.18 (talk) 06:06, 5 October 2013 (UTC) [reply]

Screenplay

[edit]

Someone called Rutvik Oza is being falsely credited as the Screenplay writer on this Wiki page as well as IMDB. If you see the official poster and credits on erosnow.com or on the official Ram-Leela FB page, https://www.facebook.com/RamLeelaMovie, you will see that the Screenplay writers are: 1. Siddharth-Garima 2. Sanjay Leela Bhansali This Rutvik Oza seems to be a fraudulent impersonator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.140.95.10 (talk) 07:50, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested move

[edit]

I suggest the current title should be moved to Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela as in the posters and music cover there is no "—". Opinions are welcomed. Sohambanerjee1998 06:32, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: Don't know about the dash, but every single source refers it as Ram Leela.--Jionpedia 07:24, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Reliable sources - 123. Sohambanerjee1998 08:06, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, well The Times of India confirms that "Goliyon Ki Rasleela" is the tagline (Taglines are not used in article titles), Hindustan Times just said "Ram Leela literally is Goliyon Ki Raasleela." (not clarifying whether it is included in the title or not) and Flipkart used GKR as a subtitle (Also, subtitles are not included in article titles). Ram Leela is still widely used.--Jionpedia 08:28, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see, Let me explain the background then. At first Sanjay Leela Bhansali (hereafter referred to as SLB) the director started the project with the name Ram Leela but later keeping in mind the controversies and legal cases (nothing surprising these days) he changed the name to Ram-Leela/Ram Leela with the tag line "Goliyon Ki Rasleela". I will provide the sources. Sohambanerjee1998 08:44, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, just found an article in Koimoi stating that an FIR was filled for hurting religious feelings. 1. Sohambanerjee1998 08:47, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Poster.

[edit]

Film articles are update with theatrical release posters. In such cases posters uploaded before-hand should be given the priority and to update it upload new version option should be used. If these images differed in file types i.e. .jpg/.png it would have worthwhile but in this case it was not so. Again is not the fault of the uploaded but the result of an act of a vandal who removed the image thus led the uploaded to believe that no poster was available.   Sohambanerjee1998   16:48, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In this diff - 1 the poster was removed.   Sohambanerjee1998   16:57, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What is the meaning of the symbols in the heart tattoo in Ram's arm? You can see them in the poster. --Error (talk) 18:46, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
