2013 Cleanup of article

[edit]

Although it still requires work, Ive condensed and streamlined the article to make it more chronological and so as to get rid of some frankly unnecessary and repetitive info. There's still quite a bit of writing for each state/territory's civil relationship schemes, would be great to get 'Domestic partnership' articles for each state/territory so these ones in this article can be shortened. Until that happens, I just don't want to lose all that legislative info for each jurisdiction, just to fit it all in one neat paragraph. Also tossing up about weather or not to get rid of 'Landmark marriage legislation' section, it's only really there to keep extensive info about Howard's ban on SSM back in 2004. - Jono52795 (talk • 16:13 6 November 2013 (UTC)
