Out of Date
[edit]This article seems very out of date. There are 13 seasons and counting now... Alphius (talk) 06:09, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Mass merge proposal
[edit]I propose to merge what little is relevant from all the standalone season articles after episode 100 into this list, ergo the following:
- Red vs. Blue (season 1)
- Red vs. Blue (season 2)
- Red vs. Blue (season 3)
- Red vs. Blue (season 4)
- Red vs. Blue (season 5)
- Red vs. Blue (season 6)
- Red vs. Blue (season 7)
- Red vs. Blue (season 8)
- Red vs. Blue (season 9)
- Red vs. Blue (season 10)
- Red vs. Blue (season 11)
- Red vs. Blue (season 12)
- Red vs. Blue (season 13)
- Red vs. Blue (season 14)
- Red vs. Blue (season 15)
- Red vs. Blue (season 16)
Currently these articles are just lists of production crew, long plot summaries, and an occasional soundtrack mention and primary-sourced details. There's no indication of notability itself, and no major reason to not include in the main list. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 20:22, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- @David Fuchs: What's the intention here? In the source data there are summaries for each episode which don't appear in the article. We can either remove the summaries altogether, or keep them and split the article. I don't particularly mind either way. Onetwothreeip (talk) 23:03, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
- I have no idea why the summaries aren't appearing; the entire thing was a weird rat's nest of transcoding parts of other pages to this one. I assume there's something in the template that's currently hiding the plot info. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 00:14, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
- Definitely something in the formatting that omits the plot summaries, and my attempts to reverse that haven't worked. I think the most reasonable thing to do now is to split the article as if the summaries were displayed, and hopefully someone works it out. Onetwothreeip (talk) 08:10, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
- I believe the issues is a non-standard wrapper template instead of {{episode table}}. I'll have to fuss with it. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 17:34, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, it's a combination of bad templates plus using episode list subpage templates instead of the {{episode list}} one. I've fixed Season 1, as well as using proper syntax and fields for the episode durations; I'll work on the others whenever I feel like it or someone can look to what I changed for their own edits. Page size
[edit]This article has 492,911 bytes of markup; that's far too large. The page should be split into several parts. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:04, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't much see the point in splitting a list into a bunch of other lists that have no real content besides plot summaries. At this point I think it makes more sense to just kill the summaries wholesale, given that they're largely not accessible to someone without an intimate knowledge of the series (a show going for the better part of two decades ends up that way). Proposed merge of Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox into List of Red vs. Blue episodes
[edit]Doesn’t need a separate article. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:36, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- @David Fuchs: Good time to discuss as your working on this article. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:37, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- If the plot summary is trimmed down before merging it shouldn't be a problem. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 22:36, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Suggest that we therefore don't merge, as there seems to be no interest in trimming it (given its been a year ...). Klbrain (talk) 17:33, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
