Talk:List of RoboCop video games
Title theme
[edit]There should be mention that the soundtrack for the 8-bit computer versions (or at least for Spectrum and C64) was also used in a Television advert for Ariston.
Yes, but it would help to know who the composer was and why it was an original composition rather than something from the movie score
First Person Shooter?
[edit]Shouldn't that have its own article instead of redirecting here where there is almost no information on it? Ayavaron 08:48, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
MAME
[edit]This game is kinda jerky when I run it on MAME on my Celeron. Is that normal? Captain Zyrain 19:22, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]All these articles are stubs and should have started on their parent article page. According to Wikipedia guidelines fictional topics should generally work out as such:- 1) The main article is formed (in this case the film article) with section on games. 2) The games section cannot hold the expanding section. 3) A games article is formed. 4) Certain games sections grow too large and expand into their own article (as long as they have enough real world information). This process is ignored too often, it should be utilized here.
Examples of film franchise video games stubs in the same article:
- Ghostbusters (franchise)#Video games
- Batman computer and video games

New RoboCop game
[edit]I can't seem to find the article on the 2003 RoboCop game. It needs to be added here. Bovineboy2008 (talk) 21:28, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Use of non-free images on this article
[edit]This article has been identified as containing an excessive quantity of non-free content. Per the Foundation's requirement to keep non-free media use minimal, and per Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria #3, the non-free images on this article have been removed. Please note:
- The presence of a fair use rationale for this article on an image description page does not make it acceptable for a given use.
- Blanket restoration of the non-free images that have been removed can and most likely will be reverted, with subsequent reporting action possible.
- If some restoration is desired, careful consideration of exactly what non-free media to use must be made, paying special attention to WP:NFCC #1 and #8. In most cases non-free media needs to be tied directly to the prose of the article, most preferably with inline citations tying the discussion to secondary sources regarding the image per Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If this is a list type article, please read the WP:NFLISTS guideline. If you wish to dispute this removal, it may be helpful to read WP:OVERUSE, as it answers a number of typical questions and responses to removals such as this. If after reading these, you still feel there is grounds for restoration of most or all of the media that have been removed, please post to Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. Infobox
[edit]In the Infobox for RoboCop (2003), the "Platform(s)" field includes "PC". I think that the "Platform(s)" field should specify a value or values from the " Supported platforms" section of the Vgclegend template. For example, if RoboCop (2003) only runs on MS-DOS, then RoboCop (2003)'s Infobox should specify "DOS" in the "Platform(s)" field. ProResearcher (talk) 15:44, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

James Pond 2: Codename: RoboCod
[edit]There should be a reference to James Pond 2: Codename: RoboCod, as some people (like me) thought it was also named Robocop, due to the word play and it kind of incorporated elements of the RoboCop Franchise (such as the uniform or the title song). Should it be added as a normal game like the others or just a mention somewhere? Hansj123 (talk) 14:09, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
