Tandem HEAT

The tandem HEAT on the table has the same penetration as the normal HEAT,there would be no point in having a tandem if it does the same damage as a normal HEAT. Dudtz 11/8/06 7:56 PM ET

Versus RHA - I'm sure the single and double HEAT warheads do the same damage, however versus armour protected by ERA, the single HEAT warhead would do almost no damage, where as the double HEAT warhead would do about the same damage (perhaps a little less). But after the first metal melts trough as far as it can go,the second one ahould be able to travel trough easier if no ERA and/ or Chobham. is used. Dudtz 11/10/06 7:45 PM ET
