- This is one of the few endangered species of mammals in the state of california. Its range is associated with a locale of high international name recognition (San Francisco Bay Area) and is the locus of intense ongoing land use conflicts. Anlace 17:13, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

title should read Salt marsh harvest mouse
[edit]caps on last three words should become lower case...what do others think...obviously links would have to be redirected as needed Anlace 19:37, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- We have gone over this endlessly at WP:TOL. Right now, among mammals there seems to be a very slight leaning toward either capital common names of species and subspecies or of allowing those who create the article to decide which choice to take. If you changed it you would have both backers and detractors. --Aranae 07:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Adding a section about its lifesytles, location and habitat requirements
[edit]I am considering the addition of more information on this mouse describing more of its life patterns and its habitat requirements. It seems a bit skimped so I thought I might add some more information about the species.Achen126 (talk) 04:33, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- Way to go, keep it coming.Luciferwildcat (talk) 06:40, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Diet
[edit]"The Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse also eat other carcusses and fish. They are herbivores." This is inconsistent. I thought all mice ate plants and insects? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.48.211.164 (talk) 19:58, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
