Sandro RanieriSandro Raniere – I believe that his name is in fact spelt Sandro Raniere not Sandro Ranieri. The proof for this comes from the player himself. His official website is www.sandroraniere.com and it lists his full name as Sandro Raniere Guimarães Cordeiro. Also his official twitter feed is @sandroraniere. • There are conflicting sources from multiple sites, some of which are generally considered RS for footballers. In the "Sandro Ranieri" camp, (FWIW: 1.4m ghits, 22 gnews hits), we have ESPN, his former club, The Telegraph, RioTimesOnline while in the "Sandro Raniere" camp (FWIW: 153000 ghits and 9 gnews hits) we have FIFA, Premier League, RSSSF, BBC as well as his apparent personal sites as listed above.
While the raw numbers support Ranieri, it would appear weighted in favour of a move to Raniere by virtue of the "officialness" of these sources, in particular FIFA, RSSSF and Premier League. I have no opposition to a move with redirect. --ClubOranjeT 11:48, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I found two more reliable sources that use Sandro Raniere. Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) website list him as Sandro Raniere in the squad list for March 2011. Transfermrkt.de (German football statistics website) also uses Raniere in his profile page. — MT (talk) 14:41, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
