@Rickijonna: Your article started out in pretty good shape but you've made some real improvements. I think you should focus most on integration, expansion, and polishing.

In particular, you want to look at taking the stuff in external links and adding them as references with the <ref></ref> tags. Check out this page for useful details: Help:Referencing for beginners.

Anyway, you're off to a good start so I don't think there's any real reason this needs to stay in your sandbox. I'd move your text back into the main article and replace your sandbox with a blank page. Good luck! —mako 01:15, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Rickijonna: Hello hello! I must say that your article is off to a great start! I read through it and really like the information that you put in there. Several suggestions that I have to improve your article is: - expand more relating to the history of the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival--as in how did it start? - maybe the different celebrations that they had over the past years could also be another section -notable achievements - more pictures - controversies that took place during the festival?

Overall I think you did a great first start!! Keep it up Halimnat (talk) 22:38, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Rickijonna: Hello! I think you have a great starting point for this article on Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. I can see a lot of traffic being driven to the article by supporters of the festival to make some small changes here and there. I think one thing that could be improved is to try and find another resource that is outside the production companies website. Maybe if you can find a news article from a local Seattle publication on the festival? I've made a few grammatical changes but overall everything looks great! @Rickijonna: Hi there! I was very intrigued about your topic. I noticed that there isn't a whole lot about the history of the festival, so I found this website http://www.capitolhillseattle.com/2015/10/something-to-get-motivated-seattle-lesbian-and-gay-film-festival-turns-20/ . I found some pretty intersting things on there. I was also wondering if there was any cool videos that would be allowed by Wikipedia and the filmmakers of course, that could be allowed. If not, maybe mentioning some of the winners of the specific categories you listed or winners from years past. Keep up the great work! BrandieBreezy (talk) 05:52, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Rickijonna: Hi Ricki! Your article has some really good content, like several other people have already mentioned, and I really enjoyed reading it. A few suggestions that I have for making it more polished are:

-Sort the paragraphs into headings/subheadings. You could do this by splitting one section into history, another section into a brief summary at the top of the page, and another section into a 'recent years' heading. Something that I also thought of would be to make a list of previously aired festival films! -Something that might be useful and eye catching would be to add a template/infobox in order to include a quick snapshot of important information -Condensing external links into actual internal references, like Mako suggested, would also be a very good way to clean up and polish your article

Overall your article looks fantastic in my opinion! Keep up the good work -Siobhanmdowling (talk) 22:22, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another note: I have made one of the previous external links into a reference within the article instead! -Siobhanmdowling (talk) 00:00, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
