Reviewer: Steve ^T • C. I won't bother wasting space with the use of {{GAList}}—I'm happy this meets the criteria. I hope you don't mind, but I made some minor changes myself; it was quicker than listing them all here (see the intermediate edit summaries for the rationales for each). Some comments before we close:

"U2 and Brian Eno formed Passengers as a side-project during the recording sessions for U2's 1997 album Pop. Their plan was to record a soundtrack for the 1996 film The Pillow Book as a warm up for Pop."—can this be clarified? It says that they formed Passengers during recording for Pop, but then says the intent was for it act as a warm up, something they did before they tackled that album.
- I've tried to clarify this a bit; it occurred at the very beginning of the Pop sessions, so the decided to record the album as a warm-up following the tour before engaging themselves more heavily with Pop. Melicans (talk, contributions) 18:24, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Part of the group's intent for Original Soundtracks 1 had been to make a "night-time" record."—is there any more context available? What do they mean by a "night-time" record?
"The band wrote "Slug" with the idea of these lights flickering on as day faded to dusk"—do you mean like a halogen tube in a bathroom, stop-starting as it fires up? Or as in each light coming on one after the other? In the latter's case I'm not sure "flickering" is the best word.
"Bono described the opening notes, which reflect this feeling, as being 'like a Christmas Tree'."—as in the notes are like the lights on a Christmas tree? I'm not entirely following, as it lacks a smidgeon of context.

I wish there was a bit more context for these three points, but all my source for that says is "There had been talk about making a night-time record and some of Original Soundtracks 1 does enter that territory. But "Slug" is an attempt to paint a picture of the lights coming on in a city like Tokyo. 'Which is like a Christmas tree,' Bono says, explaining the sweet musical tinkling with which the track opens." The source discusses the band's career song by song rather than giving an overview of the album, so there isn't much more context I can find (though it makes sense in my mind after listening to the song). I think flickering was just a poor word choice on my part since that source does not use the word. I've switched it out for "turning". I've also altered the Christmas tree part; I changed it sufficiantly so that it is no longer a quote but gives more context as to it's meaning. I've added a quote from Bono which I think provides the context for the "night-time" part; it probably made a bit more sense before I switched info around to create more sections prior to the GA review, but I think this addition helps quite a bit. I've also included a brief mention further down wich shows how "Slug" relates to that concept. Though you didn't bring it up, I've also expanded the background and reception sections, since these were fairly short and I was concerned that they did more to drag the article down than they did to add to it. Thanks very much for your review thus far! How do the alterations look?
