Isn't "Susan" a hypothetical personality used in studying Psychology? I would like to see some reference to that fact on this article, but I am unable to located sources for this information, perhaps someone else inclined would..? :)

It has been mentioned on BBC Radio 1 that presenter Scott Mills is sometimes referred to as Susan and this is being added to this article. A nickname is not worthy of note here. Adambro (talk) 17:29, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shoshana

[edit]

The OED states:"Shoshana - New Testament form (Luke 8:3) of the Hebrew name Shoshana (from shoshan 'lily', which in modern Hebrew also means 'rose')". This is at variance with the current text; is there a definitive Hebrew source?—Ashleyvh (talk) 08:12, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Susan

[edit]

Does not Susan mean resident of Susa? How does lotus or lily fit in to the meaning when Susan/Shoshana directly tie to Elam/Susa of Persia ? 99.85.28.66 (talk) 04:59, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
