Prose needs cleaning up; it's very choppy, and has several grammar errors and poorly constructed phrases. Suggest getting someone else to copyedit after the information has been expanded.

The coverage is barely adequate; the article fails to cite several papers published in scholarly publications that could be used to provide more information. Examples:

The diet, behavior, and reproduction sections are small. Effort should be made to expand them, and it may be worth considering putting them all as subsections of a bigger section called "Biology and ecology"

"Animal, Smithsonian Institution, 2005" -> what is this doing in the refs? Also, put the fishbase link as a reference or as an external link; italicize the Latin name.

as mentioned before, the prose needs work but I don't want to get into too much detail yet before more info is added.

I will have to fail the article at this time. Some effort was put into cleaning up the prose and making some other fixes, but the major drawback of the article still remains: it needs to be more fully developed to give a better coverage about what is known about the swellshark.
