Local words

[edit]

"Taluk" needs explanation. We don't use Wikipedia to give us words to look for in a dictionary--SilasW 21:17, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Taluka should be linked. It is the same as tehsil and mandal and is the name of the type of subdivision of a district. --Bejnar (talk) 21:07, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yadgir is now a district, not a taluk in Gulbarga. The attached map is also wrong.

INCORRECT INFORMATION

[edit]

There are only five talukas in Bidar district.

Chitgoppa, Hulsoor and Kamalnagar are not Talukas in Bidar. (at least, not yet!) -Anand2202 (talk) 14:31, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
