Edits October 2013

Graduate students in George Mason’s Industrial Organizational Psychology Masters and PhD program edited this page. Job Characteristics Theory was applied to telework (see 4 Job Characteristics in Telecommuting) in order to explain why the situation and job traits of telework differ from face-to-face interactions and work in the office. These job characteristics influence job performance and job attitudes (see 5.2 Potential Benefits/Job Attitudes and 5.4 Potential Benefits/Turnover Intentions and 6 Potential drawbacks and concerns) and provide an explanation for the outcomes observed in telecommuting. Our posts in the page are grounded in theory and referenced extensively. If you have any questions, please post your comments in the Talk page, rather than editing or deleting our work. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IOwikigm (talkcontribs) 07:03, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
