Historical Context

[edit]

The present text is extraordinarily patronising to the people of Spain, an ancient and cultured nation, and in particularly to its women.

Why isn't every American film in Wikipedia blessed with a similar proviso, which could read something like: Throughout its history, the USA has been a violent, sexist and racist nation, which is widely reflected in its movies.

I suggest the whole section is drastically condensed or, better still, deleted. Clifford Mill (talk) 20:17, 24 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Plot" section ridiculously long

[edit]

So many of these Wikipedia pages have plot descriptions pathetically long like this, I mean, come on, reading it almost takes as long as watching the whole film... It's just so bloody self-indulgent, it's supposed to be a summary, for goodness' sake!! 49.183.160.118 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 14:47, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
