Authority control data

[edit]

Greg at Library of Congress Authorities --a useful catalog entry point

Tim at LC Authorities

Unusually German wikipedia covers only tim de:Tim Hildebrandt) --or is that usual because he alone is deceased and there is a high threshold for WP:BLP at DE.wiki?

--P64 (talk) 21:18, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That could be, although the Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Russian wikipedias didn't seem to have a problem listing them at a combined page. 98.220.156.36 (talk) 00:42, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
de:Caldecott Medal redlinks for Petersham, Hader, Dillon suggest to me that DE.wiki may not have any joint biographies ...
de:Kategorie:Künstlerduo contains "Abbott und Costello" and other art duos. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello have biographies there but that isn't generally true. (Abbott & Costello are also a distinct "corporate name heading" at LC Authorities[1])
The real oddity to me is that DE.wiki does not have Greg Hildebrandt as well as Tim. --P64 (talk) 22:45, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I added templates {{Authority control}} to the personal redirects Greg Hildebrandt and Tim Hildebrandt. --P64 (talk) 18:43, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Shannara quest party.jpg

[edit]

File:Shannara quest party.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
