NPOV

[edit]

Many of this articles text has issues with the WP:NPOV policy -- 144.137.17.231 (talk) 07:21, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is about tag cleanup. As all of the tags are more than a year old, there is no current discussion relating to them, and there is a great deal of editing done since the tags were placed, they will be removed. This is not a judgement of content. If there is cause to re-tag, then that of course may be done, with the necessary posting of a discussion as to why, and what improvements could be made. This is only an effort to clean out old tags, and permit them to be updated with current issues if warranted.Jjdon (talk) 18:32, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs to be edited, as it stands it suggests that graduates of the Don College are only eligible to enrol at the University of Tasmania which is obviously incorrect. While many graduates do go on to Utas, some have the sense to see that there are other, better universities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.170.90.6 (talk) 05:52, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Common Room Bias

[edit]

"The two common rooms; northern and southern, are two very different environments. The southern common room started out in the late 1970's as the "smokers" common room. Over time, this has gradually led to todays reputation of the southern common room being the common room for "out-casts" (even the vending machines use to be 10 cents cheaper). The northern common room is named so because of the windows facing the north which fills the common room with light creating a happy environment. Northern common roomers are typically friendly people."

What a load of rubbish. How obvious is it that this article is written by a person who sits in the northern common room. The reality is that both common rooms a different due to the ambience and also the different people groups. Within each common room can be found sub-groups. Each common room has its share of friendly and unfriendly people and introverts and extroverts.

To say that the southern common room is for outcasts is a total fabrication. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.171.114.217 (talk) 16:18, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
