Year in which episode takes place

[edit]

As referenced and linked in the article, the episode takes place in 2025, not 2011 as commonly mistakenly believed. No less an authority than Schow's exhaustive "The Outer Limits: The Official Companion" states this fact (link currently leads to a scan of that book's article). Please do not delete this link unless you have a cite to back up another date. Thank you. Sir Rhosis (talk) 22:41, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • That's all well and good but if you actually watch this episode you will find that that does not hold water, as in fact the duplicate states that he has had the megazoid for two years and whilst Schows great book is exhaustive and other superlatives there is in fact nothing in this episode that would lead you to believe the year is 2025, Schow says it is but without any evidence within the text for that view, I could go on but I doubt you give a turkey, bye know,86.11.32.155 (talk) 22:55, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you watch the episode it actually show's a plaque on the wall of the museum which states 2011. Not sure where the claimed 2025 comes from... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.171.110 (talk) 05:28, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The MGM Home Video Library release (VHS) of this episode -- the blue box circa 1990 edition) -- clearly says "In the year 2025..." as part of its plot summary. So -- an MGM product says so. Chesspride 66.19.84.2 (talk) 07:34, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
