This could do with more references. Sarah777 (talk) 20:58, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the second "M" in the title capitalized in this article??? Upsmiler (talk) 17:32, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, why has the title been rendered in CamelCase? Varlaam (talk) 18:47, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The opening credits title

[edit]

The title sequence shows an Aer Lingus jet at Shannon Airport, which certainly was and probably still is a major refuelling stop for planes travelling from Europe to North America.
Shannon Airport is the reason this editor has "visited" the Irish Republic three times.

The title there is written:

theMatchMaker

with "the" in lower case, two highly stylized M's and a shamrock above the 'r' to remind us that Ireland believes in the Holy Trinity.
So that is basically a logo in its presentation.
WP and the IMDb tend to discount such gimmickry as establishing an official title.
So the poster title:

The Matchmaker

represents the real and legitimate one.
